You will arrive at the newly renovated G. Diaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerta Vallarta.  Travel options from the airport to Casa La Ventana  include:

Private Driver Service:  (Round Trip or One Way)

Taxi:

Taxi service is available one way from the Puerto Vallarta airport to Boca de Tomatlan as follows:

Sedan for three - approximate charge of $55 USD
Van for up to seven - approximate charge of $70 USD
plus an expected tip (propina) of $10 - 20 USD

Boca de Tomatlan is in Taxi Zone 4.  All rates are set by zones.

Bus:

Bus service is also available outside of the Puerta Vallarta airport.  Take any bus which says Old Town, Zona Romantica, Los Muertes, etc.  When you get to the end of the line, ask the driver how to change to the Boca/Mismaloya bus.  Fare for each bus leg is 7 pesos (about 70 cents usd) or a total of about $1.40 usd, one way to La Boca.  Bus services runs every 10 - 15 minutes, from 6 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. from Puerta Vallarta to Boca de Tomatlan where buses turn around to return to Puerta Vallarta.  This is an inexpensive option for the experienced travel who travels light.  Allow about 1 1/2 hours for both bus rides.

Car Rental:

While the Puerto Vallarta area has excellent mass transportation, several major car rental companies are located at the airport for your convenience.

Arrival to Casa La Ventana:

With prior knowledge of your arrival time, a Casa La Ventana helper will be waiting for you on the other side of the river to assist you and your luggage across the foot bridge and to escort you up the "Stairway to Heaven" and to the comfort of your private guest quarters.  If you use VIP Transport Service, your driver will automatically call ahead and coordinate your arrival with Casa La Ventana staff.
